Better night photos on iPhone

Short answerHold still or rest the phone on something, let Night mode finish its countdown, tap to focus on your subject, and avoid zooming in. Use any light you can find: shop windows, street lamps, a phone torch bounced off a wall.
  • Brace your elbows or lean on a wall.
  • Don't zoom digitally in the dark; move closer.
  • Lower the brightness slider slightly to keep highlights.
  • Wipe the lens; night shots show smudges.

Music Wide Selfie's front and rear Night modes have passed early testing.
